2000 Flight hours for Ship 2

This photo was taken for the civilian gentleman in the light colored shirt in the group in front. I cannot remember his name. He was near retirement, and had been on the B-1 forever.

We're celebrating 2,000 flight hours on this aircraft. Add to that the 2.5 lifetimes ship 2 spent on the shaker, and that's pretty damned impressive. If you will look at the vertical tail, you'll notice the striping that indicates this was ship 2 after major modifications, in B-1B configuration. I'll write about that tail paint job someday.
